Porcelain Veneers

Refers to extremely thin, custom made porcelain shells that are bonded to the teeth. Porcelain veneers are also called Porcelain Laminates and are made in a dental labratory and not chairside. Cosmetic dentists use veneers to repair chipped, worn or cracked teeth and can also be used to whiten one’s smile. Due to their ability to also straighten crooked and gapped teeth, cosmetic dentists like to refer to them as "instant orthodontics."
