A dental appliance that consists of clear plastic containers that are used for alignment of the teeth. The Invisalign system is used for 18 to 30 two week sessions, adjust and straighten teeth in increments. This new method in Orthodontia allows patients to have an alternative to metal braces. The trays are changed every two weeks and the straightening process is gradual. Unlike braces, patients can remove the plastic aligners to eat and brush their teeth. Usually, an Invisalign process will take about one year or sometimes longer for extremely crooked or overcrowded teeth.
